About

Our athlete Paul Guschlbauer is a professional paragliding pilot. Among the greatest successes of his career are several podium places at the Red Bull X-Alps and numerous victories at the Red Bull Dolomitenmann in paragliding.
Paul started his sport career at a very early stage in his life. His father motivated him for sports, especially for mountain biking. At the age of 13 years, he participated and won his first mountain bike race.

After reading an article about the Red Bull X-Alps, Paul realised the many possibilities that this sport offers. This confirmed him even more in his decision to dedicate himself to the sport of paragliding. Not much time passed before Paul completed the basic paragliding course in Graz. “Since then, my enthusiasm for paragliding has been growing day by day and I always love to take on new challenges.”

In addition to the many other sports like climbing, ski mountaineering or cross-country skiing, Paul loves to practice he is very much interested into photography and traveling.
The greatest thing for Paul is that that he was able to turn his great passion into his profession. A practical side effect of this is that he could move to the mountains and follow his passions there even more.
